Who are we?
Hello, we’re Chris & Kell.
A while back, we bought a boat… a really BIG boat with a lot of parts and little history.
Together, we spent 5 years refitting this no-name mysterious beast into our home.
Now we are full time liveaboards cruising all around Mexico!

We’ve been around. We’ve done things, but we want to do more.
We want to explore without limits.
Home is where you make it, right? What better way to travel than aboard your house?
We want adventure; not just one adventure (psst… that’s a vacation).
We want our adventure to be sustainable. With this boat, we can have the life we want.
The big house with the picket fence, the desk gig with the structured salary, the repetition, the consistency; it's not for us.
We want something different. When we launch, we’ll have to let go of any reservations and all those little reasons for not saying 'yes'.
THE DREAM TEAM
Chris
Chris is super handy. He has loads of experience in remodeling. This guy built out three restaurants with commercial grade kitchens, managed them, and then sold them. Now he’s a full time maintenance man to Drifter with experience in marine electrical, plumbing, & boat yoga. Chris's skills also include, bartering, bartending, bar hopping, & having really great hair.
Kelly
Kelly grew up in a barn then she dashed off to college for a frivolous art degree. After putting on some reality pants, she went back to school for an actual degree, and now she multitasks as a designer/drafter/permit specialist for a small home building company. Her hobbies include (but are not limited to): staring at a computer screen, editing, documenting every meal on social media, and drinking too much water.

About the Boat
Drifter is a 1972 Nauticat 38' (ketch). He was widowed twice, torn apart, beat to hell, and rebuilt over the last few years with more love, blood, sweat, and tears that one could ever imagine.
